The KPI Institute’s participation at the Supply Chain Analytics Conference

Last week, The KPI Institute was delighted to share expertize on performance management for supplier partnerships, due to its participation at the Supply Chain Analytics Conference held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The conference was comprised of one day dedicated to workshops on topics such as Data Quality and Predictive Models: Taking Control over Information Assets to Empower Business and Optimizing Processes through Cross-Functional Analysis, followed by 2 days of presentations. The main topics debated during the 3 days of conference focused on the usage of predictive analytics in the supply chain function, as well as on best practices in generating value from this activity.

On the second day of the conference, Cristina Tarata – Head of Research Programs at The KPI Institute presented a case study that outlined the essentials of improving supplier relationship management with the usage of supplier scorecards. Such examples prove that challenges like poor supplier performance, difficult data gathering, lack of data accuracy and engagement from the parties involved can be overcome through a well-structured performance management framework for supplier.
